Here’s my own recipe of Kashmiri
pink tea.
Ingredients:
o 2 cups water
o 2 teaspoons loose green tea leaves
or 2 tea bags
o 4-5 green cardamom pods, crushed
o 4-5 strands of saffron
o 4-5 cloves
o 1 small cinnamon stick
o 1 teaspoon dried rose petals
(optional)
o 1-2 tablespoons chopped almonds or
other nuts (optional)
o Sugar to taste
o Milk
Step by Step Instructions:
Boil the
Water: In a saucepan, pour 2 cups of water and bring it to a boil.
Add Spices: Once the water is boiling, add
the crushed cardamom pods, cloves, and cinnamon stick. These spices will give
the tea its unique flavor.
